One of the areas I frequent the most is Omotesando (just a stones throw from the Harajuku District). This is the red carpet for the everyday girl - street style blogs clutter the sidewalks, searching for the next big thing. In Tokyo, this is not hard to find so imagine my surprise when one of them stopped me!

Fashion Snap is a street style blog that captures not only Tokyo's elite, but also reports on the up and coming trends and ongoings in Tokyo. They were doing a feature on watches and I was chosen to answer some questions on which watch I picked, why, and what I look for in a watch. There were so many questions, I ended up giving mostly one word answers and probably came off sounding like a dumbass, i.e. "Old-fashioned! Vintage! Big face!"

Oy.

I stopped into Zoe today and discovered Kimberly Ovitz - soo good! Androgynous and tailored, with the slightest whiff of Alex Wang.


This vest is amazing in person..ugh.

P.P.S. I passed on the most amazing pair of short brown leather boots today..kicking myself :-(

I've been in a seerious fashion slump for what seems like forever-ever but the change in weather and the change in my hair has had quite an effect! I dyed my hair about two shades darker and chopped off more than a few inches and it feels soo good.

Toky-OH!

Soo there's a possibility I may be traveling to Japan for work come October!! I'm waiting for my passport to come through and then helllooooo, Tokyo :-D I started looking up inspiration photos for the colder months in Japan, the above were my favorites. I am crossing my fingers, toes, arms..whatever I can to help make this happen.
