You'll shoot yer eye out, kid.

(Vintage shirt, blazer, pin, Dad's pork pie hat)

I stopped by my Dad's house tonight to pick up a winter coat and came across this hat he bought for himself - amazing! I think I might have to pick one up for myself...

Also, I found this pin at one of my favorite consignment stores at home over the holidays. The charms hanging from the camera are too much - flash bulb, roll of film, tripod(!)

Holidaze

(H&M dress, Forever 21 skirt, Calvin Klein shoez, necklace from Harajuku)

The holidays were a whirlwind, mainly because I arrived home from Japan on Tuesday morning and my internal clock isn't set straight quite yet..

All that mattered was coming home to a beautiful tree my boyfriend had set up, filled with ornaments from a crane machine in Japan and finally getting to see my Tiggles (kitty!) after a painful separation :-(

Jeffrey Campbell for LF wedges and a new lens for my camera were by far the flashiest and most drool worthy presents received, but the most sentimental and unexpected present came from my boyfriend in the form of a Babysitter's Club book...

Priceless <3

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and best luck in the New Year!! This blog is on my Resolution list for sure.....

Clouds in my coffee

(Velvet tunic, long peach blazer - H&M, cloud tights - Poco a Poco, ring - Etsy)

I adore the love for tights here - they're out, they're proud, and they're LOUD. My most prized ones are these cloud tights, a pair with Troll dolls all over them, and a similar pair instead they are covered in cats! Ugh-mazing.

I only have two weeks left here in Japan...it is truly bittersweet. I miss home so much but I know I am going to miss it here dearly. Nothing compares to the personal style I have seen since being here...everyday is an inspiration. I'm also going to miss the amazing hospitality, the sweets, and not being able to understand anyone. It might sound terrible, but everyone just seems so much nicer when you have no idea what they are saying. I will definitely be back to visit, my little home away from home...
