(Liz) Sport it!

(Consigned blouse, Urban Renewal Levi's cutoffs, Target gladiators)

I love the anticipation when waiting for a disposable camera to be developed - you just never know!

This weekend was a blur - spent mostly on the train (ech) but for a good cause (Father's Day!). Pancake breakfast followed by The Hangover! Simple but lovely.

Also, I finally found my sequin shorts! They are bordering on booty, but paired with the right thing I think they could truly be magical.

Confessions of a Window Dresser

A year or so ago, a co-worker of mine brought in Confessions of a Window Dresser by Simon Doonan (of Barney's fame). I read it, loved it, coveted it, received it as a Christmas gift from my BFFL (who had no idea I had even heard of it! Now that's fo' real). I've been meaning to scan some of the photos but totally forgot until recently, when I was made aware of a TV show loosely based on Mr. Doonan's life called Beautiful People (also the name of his second book). The show plays just like the man himself - downright cheeky!

Love these separately and conjoined.

Thanks to all the rain lately, I've had the chance to catch up on (or just re-watch) some TV shows that may give a disturbingly accurate insight into...my deepest darkest secrets. They are as follows (try not to judge too harshly):

One Tree Hill
Blossom (so sassy!)
True Blood
Beverly Hills 90210 (the orig!)
Laguna Beach Season 2
Arrested Development
The aforementioned Beautiful People
It's Always Sunny

These are all watched sporadically and not back to back, so I do spend some QT with the real world..swear.

Home is where the good thrifting is..

I wore this...last week? I swear that one side of my body isn't higher than the other...awkward shirt tucking action!

(Robyn for H&M Fashion Against AIDS tee, thrifted blazer, H&M skirt, stolen flower)

I'm homehome this weekend and I love it for three reasons: thrifting, Target, and family/friends. In no particular order! I'm not that materialistic, promise.

Also, Chloe Sevigny and I were most definitely at the same place Thursday night! Maybe I should post a picture of Ryan Gosling and see if he shows up next.

Loveeee her

I know she gets a lot of flack, but I have such respect for someone with true personal style. She also has killer legs!
